REIGNWOOD CULTURE FOUNDATION HOSTS BELT & ROAD INITIATIVE AND GREEN FINANCE FORUM
Reignwood Culture Foundation and Climate Bonds Initiative co-hosted the Belt & Road Initiative and Green Finance Forum in the historic UN Ballroom at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square on 26th November 2018.

A discussion panel included an address from Mr Chen Yuan, Chairman of the Silk Road Research Centre, China's Ambassador to UK Liu Xiaoming, Chairman of Reignwood Group Dr Chanchai Ruayrungruang, Chairman of the China-Britain Business Council Lord Sassoon, UK Treasury’s Belt and Road Envoy, Climate Bonds Initiative CEO Sean Kidney, Chairman of Barclays Bank Sir Gerry Grimstone and UK Treasury’s Belt and Road Envoy Sir Douglas Flint.

A key sentiment led by Mr Chen Yuan and echoed by the panellists was the importance of China and Britain working together to contribute to the green development of the B&R Initiative, strengthen the Sino-British friendship and establish a set of green financial standards that promote the sharing of relevant principles, technologies and experiences.

The forum concluded with a moving ‘East meets West’ performance by Roman Simovic and Clare Duckworth from the London Symphony Orchestra.
